Health & Safety: COVID 19
This page is intended to answer questions you may have concerning dining in or ordering takeout from us during these unprecedented times.
How is Gangchu putting Health and Safety as its TOP PRIORITY?
We always have and always will take extra precautions to care for our guests and our staff. We continue to follow all CDC, state, and local guidelines and mandates.
Should I be concerned about the safety of my meal?
According to the FDA, there is currently no evidence that suggests that COVID-19 can be transmitted through food.
What additional steps are being taken to ensure I don’t contract COVID-19 from surfaces in your restaurant?
The EPA has published a list of chemicals that have been proven to be effective against COVID-19. We are using these to sanitize our tables and chairs between each seating as well as places where people frequently touch throughout our restaurant. We have also installed hand sanitizer dispensers containing 70% alcohol throughout the restaurant.
What is the staff doing to keep me safe?
We believe a vaccinated staff is the best way to keep you and our team safe. We are strongly encouraging all of our staff to get vaccinated. We perform daily wellness checks as well as require weekly negative test results for anyone who thinks they may have been exposed. We wash our hands at least every 30 minutes for 40 to 60 seconds with soap and 110 ̊F water or hotter.
What other ways can I enjoy Gangchu without dining in?
We offer Online Takeout or Delivery through Uber Eats.
